Here at Christ Church you’ll find numerous activities for children and
youth, at least eight different Sunday school classes for adults –
including one for college students, focused ministry to and with women
and men, intentional outreach ministries to persons in need in our
communities, our nation, and our world, and a deep commitment to Jesus
Christ as the hope and joy of life itself. Our 8:30 worship service
celebrates God through hymns on the organ, piano, and at times other
instruments, while our 10:45 service seeks to bless God using newer
worship expressions and a vocal worship team with piano/keyboard/guitar
accompaniment.
Life is
full of ups and downs. Moments to celebrate and moments when you feel
like life is falling apart can come literally “moments” apart. I believe
you will find persons who are on that same journey of ups and downs here
at Christ Church. Yet they’ve also found something else: the power of
God’s presence to see them through, and the strength and blessing of a
faith community to share the journey. Wherever you are in life right
now, know that you will find arms to embrace and encourage you, and the
heart of God to love and heal you at Christ United Methodist Church in
Franklin, Pa.
